Are We Going To Be Fishing From A Boat?

No, all fishing we will be done from shore and the location will differ depending on the length and size of the party. While boat fishing can be very rewarding it can be very expensive and cramped, by fishing from shore we can lower our prices and still catch amazing fish.

Do I Need A Fishing Licesine? 

This depends on how old you are in California "Anyone 16 years and older must have a fishing license to take any kind of fish, mollusk, invertebrate or crustacean in California." If you are interested in getting a fishing license click here  

What Do I Need To Bring?

Mostly everything will be supplied by us but there are a few things you need to bring. It is the law in California to have a fishing license if you are older than the age of 16. If you have issues acquiring a license just reach out to us and we can help you. Due to rising concerns over Covid-19 if you are planning and eating you must bring your own food and drink. 

What Kind Of Fish Are We Going To Catch?

When fishing in the bay there are multiple species that will bite our baits. The most popular fish people fish for are: Halibut, striped bass, Crabs, leopard sharks, bat eagle rays. During the winter we also run fresh water trout charters!

Can I Keep The Fish We Catch?

It all depends on the kind of fish we catch. All the fish we have available to catch right now are technically edible but some are more tasty than others. Halibut for example is a really tasty fish and is one of our favorite fish to eat. Bat rays on the other hand are edible but we would not recommend eating them. If you would like we can fillet any fish that you want to keep as long as it fits the California State Laws for keeping fish. We also recommend bringing an ice chest if you plan on keeping your catch!

What Is Your Age Policy?

We love to bring children on the trip and understand that it can be hard to leave toddlers at home. Therefore kids under four years old are free of charge. If you have a kid who is older than four but will not be fishing make that clear to us and we will figure out a solution.
